A fun, family-friendly event where attendees can enjoy outdoor activities, check out our outdoor recreation equipment, and engage with local businesses in a relaxed and energetic environment.

Inspired by the well-known “Murph” workout, our Hero Challenge offers modified fitness events for all ages and encourages participants of all levels to challenge themselves while honoring the service and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

Please join us fin the Fort Detrick Auditorium at Bldg 1520 Freedman Drive. Frederick county community agencies have joined our Fort Detrick agencies to provide information on their programs, activities, and upcoming events. There will be representatives of our community partners so you can personally meet the individuals that are assisting you and your family while here at Fort Detrick! This is individuals that are assisting you and your Family while here at Fort Detrick! This is an in-person event; there is no virtual option.
